Remember when you said forever?
My heart is what you nearly severed.
You had promised me you'd never leave?
The result of cuts covered by sleeves.

I nearly lost myself that night
Where I had gave everyone quite a fright.
I slit my wrists until they were drenched
My eyes were shut, my teeth were clenched.

You were and always will be
Oh so much better than me.
From your perfect hair to your unique style,
This self harm is only a trial.

When I write down these last words
I will be free.
I will fly like a bird.


So if you did tell me now
If you can see this somehow
I miss you so much it hurts my heart
I should of expected it from the start.

When you can see what you've done to me
Then maybe you can start to see
All the things I had done for you
All the things I had done. You have no clue.

Please, why can't I just be happy?
For things to just not be so crappy?
For things to actually go my way...
Why couldn't you have just stayed?

As I hang this rope up above me,
Be honest.
Did you ever truly love me?
